Live Online MSC

 

 

This 8-week MSC course contains the same content and has the same learning objectives as the in-person course, however we offer it online to increase access to those who live in areas where an in-person MSC is not offered.

MSC Intensive Course

 

 

This format usually consists of an introductory evening, four full days of training, and a final morning of training and closing. Concentrated practice allows you to immerse yourself more deeply in MSC and experience its transformative potential.

This workshop is an in-depth opportunity for people to immerse themselves in some of the key practices and exercises of the full 8-week program in an intensive 2-day format.

Meditations

 

Feel free to download the following meditations for your personal use. They are intended to guide you through the first phase of mindful self-compassion training. The meditations are primarily instructional in nature and briefer than most meditation sessions. Please use the downloads until you understand the practices and can practice on your own.

About Me

 

Chris Germer, PhD is a clinical psychologist and lecturer on psychiatry (part-time) at Harvard Medical School. He co-developed the Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC) program with Kristin Neff in 2010 and MSC has since been taught to over 250,000 people worldwide. They co-authored two books on MSC, The Mindful Self-Compassion Workbook and Teaching the Mindful Self-Compassion Program.

Chris spends most of his time lecturing and leading workshops around the world on mindfulness and self-compassion.  He is also the author of The Mindful Path to Self-Compassion; he co-edited two influential volumes on therapy, Mindfulness and Psychotherapy, and Wisdom and Compassion in Psychotherapy. Dr. Germer maintains a small, online, private practice in Cambridge, Massachusetts specializing in mindfulness and compassion-based psychotherapy.
